Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
2014
Red color, matte, deep, dark cherry red color. The first nose is toasted, mixed with notes of ripe fruit like strawberry, blackberry, supported by a hint of vanilla. In mouth it's creamy, fresh and toned. The ashy, chalky tannins, still young, give notes of blond tobacco. For the moment the mouth is square, boxed, dense. Keeping it or passing it in a decanter, if opened early, will give length to the wine which for the moment remains dormant and folded over itself. The aromatic return is chocolate and mint.

2014 signs a notable development with the arrival of consultant oenologist Julien BELLE. The roadmap is drawn and shared. A beautiful bond was born. We are developing our first vintage in organic protection. The wahoo effect is here! At the end of fermentation our wine is a pure ball of fruit. At the same time, we are diversifying the range of barrels by integrating new coopers and rotating the barrels over 2 years instead of 3. Surprise! 6 months after bottling, thanks to intense fruitiness and beautiful freshness, the 2014 is already ready to drink. The balance, the precision of the tannins which polish over time and the slow evolution of the fruit aromas of this wine now give it a beautiful elegance.
